Colds, Flu and Sinusitis - oh my!

We hope you all have managed to stay well during this cold and flu season! Many of us at Polar have been stricken with a nasty cold this month. For some of us, that has resulted in ear infections or sinus infections, with tremendous pressure and headaches. The sticker below is strategically placed on the inside of the cooling reservoir. Some customers have experienced various problems (ex: reduced cooling time) as a result of overfilling the cooler with water. It's important to fill the cooler to the top with ice first, before adding water to the fill line.

PHYSICS 101: Did you know that using too much water will cause the ice to melt more quickly? Using less water (and larger blocks of ice!) will allow the ice to stay frozen longer and help keep the water at a comfortable, cool temperature.
